Mrs. Santimauro

I am Mrs. Santimauro!  This year marks my ninth year teaching 7th grade at Roosevelt!  Math has always been a passion of mine and I hope that after this year, I can convince you that math really isn't that bad!!  Many moons ago, I received my Bachelor's Degree from Manhattan College in Mathematics and Secondary Education.  When I was there, I minored in Computer Science and Spanish, managed the radio station, sang in the choir, and participated in many volunteer activities.  More recently, I completed my Master's Degree in Mathematics at Montclair State.  A little over a year ago, my husband and I got the puppy of our dreams...a Newfoundland puppy, who we named Shelby!  We started training her from day one and it is our hope that soon, she will be a therapy dog so we can bring her to hospitals, schools, and nursing homes to brighten people's day!  Besides playing with and training Shelby, I like going hiking, cycling, playing the guitar, singing, and gardening!  I am very much looking forward to this school year and cannot wait to get to know you better!

Mrs. Cerutti

Mrs. Cerutti is on Maternity Leave until February.  We can't wait for her to return to RMS!

Hi!  I am Mrs. Cerutti!  This is my fourteenth year teaching 7th grade at Roosevelt.  When I was young, I used to play teacher in my bedroom so it seemed natural for me to make that my career.  I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Mathematics from The College of New Jersey.  I then took the Praxis for secondary education so now I am certified in Mathematics K-12. During my third year at Roosevelt, I completed my Master's Degree in Teaching.  My husband and I have a four year old son, Tyler, and a dog named Bailey, whom we have had since 2006.  Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family, going down the shore, sitting by the pool, and reading.  I look forward to working with you all this year!
